Clube Praia da Oura

The Clube Praia da Oura Apartments are set in a superb location over-looking the beach in Albufeira. A few minutes walk will find you on the beautiful sandy beaches of the Algarve, were you can enjoy the sunshine.

The complex was renovated in 2004 and comprises of a 24 hour reception and has 712 apartments and studios spread over 9 floors.

Due to the location of the property, it maybe unsuitable for people with walking difficulties although it is wheelchair friendly. Half of the property is accessible by ramps or lifts to get to the restaurants, bars and apartments.

Rooms at the Clube Praia da Oura

All rooms are elegantly decorated and have full self catering facilities. As standard all rooms have kitchenette with oven or microwave, 2 electric rings, fridge, freezer, satellite TV, DVD player, telephone, in room fan and safety deposit boxes. More detailed descriptions of what can be found in each type of apartment are below.

Check-in time is normally around 5pm on the day of arrival and guests must depart by 10am when they check-out.

Studio Apartments
Studios sleep up to 2 adults and 1 child and have a full equipped kitchenette with dining and living area. The sofa's convert into beds for the adults and the child's bed will be a camp bed. The bathroom has a shower/bath, WC and hairdryer.

All studios come complete with satellite TV, telephone, wall or ceiling fan, iron and ironing board and an in-room safe deposit box. On the terrace or balcony you will find a table and chairs for you to sit and enjoy the wonderful views across the bay.

1 Bedroom Apartments
The one bedroom apartments can comfortably sleep up to 4 people as you will have a large separate bedroom with twin or double beds, along with sofa beds in the large living area.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and the dining area is big enough for up to 4 people. In the living area you will find a telephone, TV with satellite, iron with ironing board and fan. Safety deposit boxes are also built into the rooms.

The bathroom is larger than the studios and is also fully equipped and comes with a hair dryer. All 1 bed apartments have a furnished balcony or terrace and many have fantastic sea views.

2 Bedroom Apartments
The two bedroom apartments at the Club Praia da Oura are idea for large groups or families as they can sleep up to 6 people. In the apartments you will find 1 large double bedroom, a 2nd bedroom with 2 twin beds and a sofa bed in the living area.

The dining and living area have a large kitchenette with oven, kettle, table and chairs, along with a fan, satellite TV, telephone and safety deposit box. The furnished balcony or veranda has magnificent views over the beach and sea or the hotels grounds.

Cots can be provided free of charge for infants and are available on request.

€100 euro refundable deposit is required on check-in to insure against any breakages. This can be paid in cash or by credit card.

Restaurants, Bars & Meal Types

The Clube Praia da Oura complex has a main restaurant (Jac's Restaurant) along with 4 great bars (Jac's Bar, Amanda's Bar, the Pool Bar and the Ocean Bar) offering a varied choice of entertainment to include karaoke, magic shows, live bands and singers, cabaret shows and disco.

Jac's restaurant and bar offers great food, fine dining and a great choice of snacks throughout the day.

Enjoy cool cocktails and beers in one of our 4 bars whilst enjoying the fantastic entertainment on offer. Whether you're by the pool or at the ocean bar enjoying the sun overlooking the Atlantic ocean, the Club Praia da Oura offers you great a holiday experience.

Meal Types
The Clube Praia da Oura offers the following meal types when booking your stay here. Albufeira is well know for its great restaurants and bars and many guests choose to book self catering or bed and breakfast, and go out for lunch and dinner.

Self Catering - Most of our guests book self catering for the freedom of eating what they want, when they want. Ideal if your travelling with kids, as you never know when they're hungry.

Bed & Breakfast - Whether you're an early riser or not, why not take advantage of having breakfast in the restaurant included in the price of your stay. Choose from English and continental buffet breakfasts for the best start to the day.

Half Board - Ideal if you out and about in the day, but like the comfort of having your breakfast and evening meals cooked for you.

Full Board - Book full board and you will even get lunch at the hotel, aswell as breakfast and evening meals.

No drinks are included in any board basis at the Apartments, but are reasonably priced in all the bars.

Facilities

The Clube Praia da Oura has a 2 outdoor swimming pools surrounded by comfy sun loungers and parasols. Palm trees line the gardens with the pool bar providing a well needed refreshment or snack.

The aparthotel has an outdoor sauna, 4 Jacuzzis and a bowling green with stunning views of the sea. The bowling green is there for the casual bowler (bowls can be provided) or why not enter into one of the hotel's competitions of an Algarve Bowling Tournament.

Many people who come to the Algarve will hire a car and the Club Praia da Oura offers car parking at the apartments. A regular paid bus service is available which goes from outside the hotel to the centre of Albufeira.

Children can enjoy their own pool and playground or get involved with Barney and friends at the kids club.

Activities, Entertainment & Kids Club

There is regular entertainment for adults and children throughout the year, along with weekly shows.

If you want to keep your kids entertained, you've come to the right place. Barney Bee and his sidekicks, Ladybird and Caterpillar will keep the children busy all day long, whilst you relax by the pool with a cocktail.

The entertainment team at the Club Praia da Oura provide a wide variety of activities for children ranging from crafts, beach games and treasure hunts. Evening entertainment will include disco's, movie nights and shows put on by the children.

The kids club at the Aparthotel Clube Praia da Oura is open for anyone over the age of 5 years old.

Map & Directions

The Clube Praia da Oura is located on the beach in the Oura area of Albufeira, Algarve. 800m away you will find the main strip with plenty of bars, restaurants and night clubs.

You are only 100m from the beach with supermarkets and shops with 500m.

The transfer to and from the airport is approx 45km and will take between 45 minutes and an hour depending if you take a shuttle bus or private taxi. Prices start from £9.80 per person return by shuttle.
